About Us

We are a group of people who are highly motivated to help kids in our community whose biological families are in turmoil.  Our focus is to educate our communities about the needs of babies, toddlers, kids, tweens and teens in foster care.  There are approximately 14,000 children in foster care in Michigan at any given time and over 300 in just Berrien County where we are based.  We definitely have our work cut out for us!

We encourage people in our communities to help us help these kids in anyway they can.  You don't have to become a foster parent to help out... see Our Projects page to see how you can get involved.

We also support and encourage families who have opened their homes to foster children and who have also adopted these children as their very own.  We like to encourage families in our community to take up the challenge of foster care and foster to adopt programs.  We work closely and collaboratively with the Department of Human Services in Benton Harbor.

Our Mission

We have as our mission James 1:27 (NIV) which reads:

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this:

to look after orphans and widows in their distress..."

Our group is open to everyone, Christians and non Christians alike.  Our mission is to serve all people regardless of their faith without expecting them to believe as we do or asking for anything in return.  We believe in selflessly enacting our faith, not just talking about it.
